Nowadays, everybody knows that we are witness to environmental changes which are attributed to climate change, and already well known to most of the general public. Trying to understand the reason for this phenomenon involves very complex processes which many people are not familiarized with, but basically they could be summarized and be related to the consequences of our own indifference to the place where we live. |

Summer arrives, vacations comes, and just as many people use to go to the beach on vacation to take a deserved break after a long year of work, we also take this time to go to the coast but with a different objective: we go in search of Commerson's dolphins. Once again, the Parties to CITES will meet in 2010. For CITES, a State is called Party or Member when the Convention enters into force for that country, for which it must adhere to the treaty. CITES currently has 175 Parties Nowadays we all have probably heard about climate change. Increases in temperature, strong rainfall, droughts, increased storm intensity, etc. But, what changes occur in the sea? How do they affect the beings that inhabit the sea, including marine mammals? One of the main causes of climate change is the emission of greenhouse gases into the atmosphere, among which there is carbon dioxide (CO2). |
